Hello loved friend,

Kathe and I are still basking in the love that was poured out on us last Sunday to celebrate our 20th anniversary at CVCHURCH. I have not cried so hard and so long for a very long time. We were deeply moved and humbled as you shared stories of your responses to our attempts to love, serve, sacrifice, accept, and to be here for you. That’s why we have endeavored to create an environment here at CVCHURCH for you to belong, believe and become everything that God has planned for you!

So, thank you for the profound gift of love you gave to Kathe and me last Sunday. We will cherish that time together forever.

This week we will continue to discover “HOW TO FIND JOY”. So far we have looked at how to find joy in our relationships, circumstances, attitudes, potential and jobs. This week we’re going to look at finding joy in your accomplishments. Join us this Sunday as we look at what God has to say. Looking forward to being with you!

WHAT’S YOUR JOY QUOTIENT?

I don’t know about you, but I am experiencing more joy every day! The remarkable thing is that it’s not because my circumstances are better.  It’s because of what we’re learning about on Sundays: That looking beyond my circumstances helps me see God’s purpose and plan more clearly. That clarity is bringing me more joy. And the ability to look beyond other personalities that baffle and befuddle also brings me God’s peace and perspective.

 This Sunday we will finish discovering how to have DEFIANT JOY (joy that defies your circumstances).  I encourage you to join with us and bring several friends that don’t attend church anywhere else. Here’s what you will gain from coming:

  • The ability to see good news when you only saw bad news
  • New investments that you can make with an eternal reward
  • How to see an eternal perspective in any circumstance

Hello and welcome to my blog! God is moving incredibly at Crescenta Valley Church, and as the senior pastor I have a front-row seat to seeing all the amazing things He is doing. Last Sunday was our Vision Sunday, and there’s a lot going on. We changed the name of the church, designed a new logo, we’re designing a brand new web site, and we are planning the biggest renovations in our church history!
